I will make Wladimir Klitschko look stupid – Fury

 

Tyson Fury has vowed to make Wladimir Klitschko “look stupid”, before knocking him out on Saturday night.

Fury (24-0-KO18) will fight the world heavyweight champion, who is the current WBA Super, WBO and IBF title holder in Dusseldorf.

After a public workout on Wednesday, he taunted Klitschko with a customised version of ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ and told Sky Sports: “It was a freestyle. I forgot the words so I made new words. This is child’s play to where we’ve been playing before. We’ve been in much stranger places than this.

“I think it confirmed what he already thought – that I’m crazy. I wish Wladimir well for the fight. I’m 100 per cent happy that the gloves issue has been sorted.

“The time is near and everyone is going to see a new champion. I think they’re hoping it’s going to be a new champion, too.

“I’m going to chill out and relax now. I can’t wait for the night. I’m not even in fight mode yet – God help him when I’m in fight mode.
“I’m going to make Wladimir look stupid before knocking him out. That’s a promise.”
